About The Position
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal supporting a utilities location as an unarmed patrol officer with driving duties, using your valid in-state driver’s license to conduct routine mobile and foot patrols across the site. Stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, document observations, and communicate clearly with on-site teams and visitors. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, yards, utility equipment areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, logging visitors and contractors, and directing traffic according to site rules.
- Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, including observations from patrols and access control activities.
