As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming first point of contact at a professional location, helping manage visitor access, check-ins, and badge issuance while supporting a polished lobby experience. You will monitor cameras and alarms, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card/license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate as the primary front desk presence by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or access authorization, and issuing visitor credentials per site-specific policy.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras and/or alarms, and access control systems; document unusual activity and report concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Complete logs and reports, including incident documentation, visitor records, and shift turnover notes, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
