Job Description As a Security Guard - Mobile Patrol Driver in Ocala, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of integrity, teamwork, agility, reliability, and innovation. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the facility by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation as required, and directing drivers, visitors, and employees to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, yard, dock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or trespassing.
• Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate key information during post handoff, and coordinate with site contacts and local responders when needed.
