Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and service requests, and document observations clearly. You will also assist tenants and visitors with a customer-first approach, communicating professionally while working with a reliable, agile team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to building tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including interior common areas, exterior perimeter, stairwells, parking areas, and loading or delivery zones as applicable.
• Monitor and document security-related activity using access control systems, visitor logs, and/or video surveillance, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports, communicate clearly with property staff and Allied Universal leadership, and assist with security-related awareness efforts that help to deter unauthorized activity.
