As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to conduct patrols and respond to needs across the site. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Control access at gates, doors, and designated entry points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing traffic flow for vehicles and pedestrians as required by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, communicating updates to site contacts and/or emergency services, and assisting with scene control as directed.
• Complete required reports and daily activity logs, monitor alarms and/or video systems where assigned, and promptly escalate maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and/or security-related concerns through the appropriate channels.
