As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide customer service while using a computer or tablet for reports and access processes. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a data center location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving reports, gathering basic information, and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor alarms, access points, and security-related systems as assigned, and complete routine checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas in accordance with post orders.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in daily logs and reports, and communicate updates to the client representative and/or Allied Universal supervision.
