You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access questions, and unusual activity with calm, clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, or unusual conditions.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying visitor authorizations, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining logs for deliveries, contractors, and employee traffic as required by site policy.
• Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and other access control systems when assigned, and document observations, patrol findings, and incident details according to site requirements.
