Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced automotive location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge activity, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and document key observations. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production or warehouse areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, directing visitor sign-in and/or badge issuance per site procedures, and assisting with vehicle check-in and traffic flow.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and observations using written logs and/or electronic systems, and communicate status updates to supervision as needed.
