Job Description As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Friendly, WV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal at an industrial location where you will support access control by greeting visitors, checking credentials, issuing badges, and documenting activity using a computer and/or tablet. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, with mobile checks to help maintain site awareness. Bring clear communication and customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity. Pre-Employment Requirement: Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Primarily driving post experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entrances and/or gates by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing and collecting badges, and directing authorized personnel to the proper location.
• Monitor and document inbound and outbound activity including deliveries, contractors, and vehicles, completing logs and reports according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns per site policy.
