About The Position

As a Security Guard - Roving Foot Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist visitors and tenants with directions and questions, document observations, and communicate concerns to the appropriate teams. Requirements

Have 2+ years of Security Experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, contractors, and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior common areas, retail corridors, loading dock areas, stairwells, parking decks, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, service corridors, and/or restricted areas; verify badges, passes, and/or work authorizations when required and direct visitors to the proper locations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical calls, and/or tenant concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner; document actions taken and coordinate with site contacts and public services as needed.
Complete detailed reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation; communicate noteworthy observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership during shift transitions.
