As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear communication and outstanding customer service. You will document activity, follow site procedures, and partner with teammates and on-site staff. Requirements
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, post orders, and site-specific policies, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points at an aero and defense location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access control points and restricted areas, checking identification and visitor authorization as required, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or unusual conditions.
- Complete patrol and incident reports, document security-related activities, and communicate updates to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts using approved systems.
