As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and escalate to management and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and/or the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points, observe customer areas and transaction spaces for unusual activity, and assist with visitor management and/or escort requests when assigned.
Complete detailed reports of observations, incidents, and/or irregular conditions, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
