You will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and assist with access points and visitor interactions. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access at gates, doors, and checkpoints by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in, issuing badges when applicable, and directing deliveries to designated areas per site procedures.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems as assigned, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, completing incident reports, and escalating concerns through the proper chain of command.
