As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and/or petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, assist visitors and staff with clear communication, and document observations and reports. Requirements

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, staging areas, and perimeter fencing, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access restrictions, area control, and notifications to site contacts and/or public responders.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor logs, and delivery documentation as required, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items.
• Complete shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and equipment checklists, and communicate observations and status updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.
