As a Security Guard - Unarmed Rounds Patrol in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors, document observations, and respond to needs with a calm, customer-focused approach. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, unsecured doors, and unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical emergencies, and requests for assistance from staff.
• Control access as assigned by monitoring entrances, checking authorized credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in and waiting areas.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to site procedures, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
