You will conduct routine patrols across buildings and grounds, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. Working as part of a team, you will support staff, patients, and visitors with customer service while embodying our agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED and provide proof as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site staff, patients, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Help to control access by monitoring entry points, checking credentials as directed, and directing visitors to approved check-in and restricted areas.
  • Complete required security-related reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation, and communicate observations to oncoming personnel.
