About The Position

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Rover Driver in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for service, and support team members, drivers, and visitors with professional customer service. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with incident documentation and notifications per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, yard space, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor and control access at entrances, gates, and shipping and receiving areas, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete routine reports and logs, including patrol activity, access activity, and unusual conditions, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
