About The Position
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Rover Security Clearance in MOORESTOWN, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a high-tech aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor interactions. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to situations with professionalism and calm. Requirements
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate updates to site contacts and/or dispatch as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, directing visitors to appropriate destinations, and documenting entries and exits per post orders.
- Complete security-related reports and shift logs, note unusual conditions, and report maintenance concerns such as doors, gates, and/or lighting issues.
