As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong presence and timely reporting. You will assist guests and staff with professional customer service, clear communication, and quick direction during unusual situations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and vendors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and established security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort areas including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire alarm activations, and request additional resources as needed.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as directed, and assisting with visitor sign-in and/or directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, patrol observations, and policy violations, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
