As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-tech aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor activity with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, labs, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
  • Monitor access points and perform ID and/or credential checks, manage visitor processing, and document deliveries and contractor access in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site representatives and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports of patrol observations, access activity, and incident response, and communicate timely updates to supervision and site contacts.
