You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond with professionalism to situations involving vaccines, the morgue, and restrained individuals when needed. Requirements

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• This position is in a hospital environment where you may be required to restrain individuals.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical-related calls for assistance, and requests for support from clinical and/or administrative teams.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corridors, lobbies, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by observing entry activity, directing foot traffic, and reporting unauthorized persons and/or suspicious behavior according to post orders.
• Complete required shift documentation such as incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
