As a Security Officer at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support a positive experience through strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• A CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate contacts and/or public resources as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter, checking doors, gates, and other access points for irregular activity.
• Control access for employees, contractors, and guests by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing traffic flow, and documenting entries and exits per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
