You will complete routine patrols and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, while providing excellent customer service and communication to employees and guests. Requirements
- Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, issuing credentials, managing visitor sign-in, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries to appropriate areas.
- Monitor alarms, access control systems, and/or CCTV as assigned, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and/or public responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas such as perimeter lines, parking areas, and critical infrastructure zones to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or unsafe conditions.
