Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location where you will support access control by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, managing entry and exit points, and documenting activity. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, and communicate clearly with site teams to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering customer service with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Control entry and exit at assigned access points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic flow through designated routes.
  • Monitor and document incoming and outgoing shipments, deliveries, and contractor activity in accordance with location requirements, and report irregularities to site management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, completing incident reports, and supporting first responder coordination as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, docks, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
