Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures at a manufacturing location, including greeting, badging, and directing traffic to the appropriate areas.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification, screening deliveries, managing visitor logs, and issuing temporary credentials in accordance with post orders.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or access control systems and report irregular activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related policy issues through the required communication and reporting channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, staging areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, damage, and/or theft, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
