About The Position

As a Security Officer - Controlled Entry Monitor in Bridgeton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, support visitor and contractor check-in, and monitor activity for security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, managing visitor logs and directing guests to the proper check-in locations.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle traffic including deliveries and shipping or receiving activity, confirming appointments, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing reports and notifying leadership and/or appropriate responders per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for irregular conditions, documenting findings and communicating concerns to site leadership.
