Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, and track deliveries and truck traffic. You will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, while documenting activity and communicating clearly with site teams. Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control access at vehicle and/or pedestrian entry points by checking identification, issuing temporary credentials, managing visitor registration, and verifying authorization for deliveries and contractors.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, document routine and unusual activity, and report maintenance and/or operational issues affecting security-related systems.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with incident documentation and notifications per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
