About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control in Waverly, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will manage access control, verify credentials, issue and track badges, and monitor entry points to help support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce incidents, and document activity using computer or tablet tools. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Manage access control by monitoring entry and exit points, confirming authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors, and issuing visitor credentials per site policy.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; report irregular activity and/or equipment issues according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and documentation as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
