As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting a government healthcare location focused on vaccination services, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet patients and staff, provide clear communication, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid training is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and requesting assistance from medical staff, supervisors, and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or disruptive activity.
  • Control access points by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization where required, and maintaining visitor and delivery processes consistent with site procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports of incidents, suspicious activity, and policy violations, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal management and site representatives.
