About The Position
As a Security Officer - Apartment Community Patrol in Henderson, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and report concerns with clear, customer-focused communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts as required.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing, noting irregular conditions and reporting concerns.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification, processing visitor and driver check-in, and maintaining logs for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
- Monitor alarms and camera systems when assigned, document security-related activity in daily reports, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or responding personnel.
