As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns with calm professionalism. You will support access control, assist staff and visitors with clear communication, and document observations to help reduce incidents. Requirements
- Have 1+ years of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies within a financial institution location.
- Carry and maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, company policies, and local regulations; complete required checks and documentation.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required.
- Control access to restricted areas, monitor cameras and alarm panels when assigned, and complete incident reports and daily activity logs with clear, timely details.
