As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to incidents and guest needs with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
An armed guard card/license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and document entries, exits, deliveries, and contractor activity per site policy.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff and/or to site leadership.
