As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will drive between assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing strong customer service. Requirements

• One year of security experience
• Clean driving record
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, and/or ATM and night depository zones, as permitted by post orders and local requirements.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner; observe, document, and report conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or loss.
• Maintain control of access points and restricted areas by monitoring entries and exits, verifying authorization as directed, and completing required logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Carry authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with all licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies, including proper handling, secure retention, and immediate reporting of any equipment issues.
