About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will complete routine patrols and highly visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms and/or calls for service, and support visitors and staff with clear, professional communication. This is an armed, driving post requiring an armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • An armed guard card/license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and vendors at a government location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; request law enforcement and/or medical resources as needed and within post orders.
  • Complete detailed reports of incidents, patrol activity, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
