As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a high-visibility presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, professional communication. You will document observations, support access control needs, and deliver customer-focused service. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity through the appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor and document security-related activity using patrol logs, incident reports, and/or electronic systems, and communicate status updates to site leadership as needed.
• Support property operations by assisting with security-related checks such as verifying credentials, controlling entry points, and/or coordinating with local emergency services when requested.
