Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol in Maury, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, respond to situations with professionalism, and document observations. Requirements

• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to location staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a government setting.
• Maintain an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific post orders, including proper handling and accountability of issued equipment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas, monitoring for unusual activity and helping to deter policy violations and/or unauthorized access.
• Complete required documentation such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol records, and communicate status updates through radios, phones, and/or other approved systems.
