Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. In this armed role, you will bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to each shift while contributing to a caring and professional environment. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Possess a valid New Jersey RPO Certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and requesting additional support when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter checkpoints, while remaining alert to unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, restricted area violations, and/or disruptive behavior in accordance with post orders and site expectations.
Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or location contacts.
