About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Clearance Required in CAMDEN, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and help reduce security-related incidents through timely observation and reporting. You will interact professionally with staff and visitors, support access control as needed, and communicate clearly during routine activity and elevated situations. Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and retain a secret clearance
• Must be 21+ years old
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, visitor authorization, and vehicle credentials, and/or screening deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, monitor alarms and/or surveillance systems as assigned, and communicate observations and concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
