Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver - Industrial Site in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, respond to alarms and service calls, and provide clear, professional communication to tenants, guests, and site teams. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
An armed guard card and/or armed guard license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and notifying site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
Control access by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
Complete detailed reports on patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.
