About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Rover in Rockwall, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, and an armed post requiring Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Requirements

• Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold Level III Armed Certification Texas Only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patrons, tenants, and/or staff while following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a retail setting.
• Carry and maintain assigned duty gear in accordance with site requirements and applicable laws, using a professional armed presence to help to deter theft, disorderly conduct, and/or other prohibited activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store interior, exterior, loading areas, and parking areas, observing for suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations, with working conditions varying by location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete timely incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and/or post orders updates.
