Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism in an armed post assignment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify identification and/or entry authorization, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Support order at the location by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and communicating clearly with site contacts, visitors, and/or responding agencies as needed.
