Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Rover in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm communication and strong customer service. Requirements

• Have 3+ years combined law enforcement/military/security experience or a college degree.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Have security experience of 5+ years.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have pepper spray certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, customers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of lobbies, ATM areas, parking areas, drive-through lanes, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, vendors, and/or contractors; coordinate visitor processing per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact law enforcement and/or emergency services when required and follow post orders.
• Complete detailed written reports and activity logs, document observations and incidents, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.
