About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Security Clearance in De Leon Springs, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a high-tech aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorization, and document entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request additional resources and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol activity, incidents, and observations; communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
