As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with clear communication. This role requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. Bring integrity and teamwork to every interaction while supporting a caring culture that puts people first.

Requirements

• An armed guard card/license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and post orders, including maintaining required licensing and following firearm handling and use of force guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical situations, and fire or alarm conditions, and request additional assistance as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or access control concerns.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and log entries, and communicate security-related information to site management and/or public responders when required.
