As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access concerns, and unusual activity. You will communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while documenting observations and incidents. This armed post calls for integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

• An Armed Guard Card and/or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access control points by checking identification, verifying authorization for entry, and directing deliveries and contractors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with onsite contacts and/or local responders, and documenting actions taken.
• Operate security-related equipment such as radios, cameras, and alarm systems, and complete detailed shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs per Allied Universal requirements.
