You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and guest concerns with calm, clear communication. You will document activity, coordinate with site leadership and local partners as needed, and deliver customer service with integrity. An armed guard card/license is required.

Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government services location by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed patrol duties, maintaining assigned equipment per policy, and help to deter unauthorized activity through high-visibility presence and communication.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, alarms, and disturbances, and coordinate with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operations areas, and perimeter, monitoring for unusual conditions and reporting maintenance concerns and/or potential hazards per procedure.
  • Complete security-related reports such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation with clear, accurate details, and communicate observations promptly to supervision and site representatives.
