As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a professional property environment, completing routine rounds, staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and responding to situations with calm, clear communication. Requirements

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Have 1+ years’ armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a law enforcement officer license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per site protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
Carry and handle an authorized firearm and related equipment in compliance with Allied Universal policies, site requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.
Control access as assigned by checking identification, monitoring entry and exit activity, and communicating issues to site contacts and/or responding personnel.
