You will remain highly visible, respond to incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. This role requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license, and rewards teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization for entry, directing visitors and/or deliveries according to property procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or local public responders as needed.
• Document observations, patrol activity, and incident details in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate notable issues to the appropriate contacts.
