About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. You will deliver strong customer service while documenting activity and supporting site procedures. Requirements

  • Possess a valid armed guard card/license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to location staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, adjusting patrol patterns based on activity and operational needs.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, identification checks, and package screening in accordance with post orders and applicable policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
  • Document patrols, observations, and incidents in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate significant issues to supervision per site procedures.
