About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Vehicle Driver in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer supporting security-related operations across assigned areas. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and calls for service, and document observations with clear, professional communication. This post also requires driving under AU Driver Policy Requirements, so you may operate a vehicle during patrols. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to every interaction.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Carry and maintain authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and applicable laws and/or regulations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site representatives and/or local law enforcement when required.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas, monitoring for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or site personnel.
